The story of “Casa Olearia Chiarandà” begins back in 1892, when the oil was still transported in jars and sold door-to-door; but in 1950, thanks to the increasing needs of the market and thegained experience, Salvatore Chiarandà was able to set up the current company situated in Comiso.Today it is Giuseppe Chiarandà, Salvatore’s son, who bottle an oil which has immediately distinguished itself in the most important oil exhibitions, obtaining various prizes and awards. After three generations, the company boasts an extra virgin olive oil that smells like grass, tomato and artichoke.
